San Diego Museum of Man Marketing Campaigns

Being an institution that is over 100 years old, the Museum of Man often struggles to distance itself from the "old Museum" image. In an effort to bridge that gap temporarily, our team thought of creative ways to drum up interest while trying different looks under the "Museum of Man" umbrella.


Two such campaigns, "Discover Yourself" and "See What's Inside", showcase the different strategies we explored. The first was a wider campaign reaching across San Diego via web ads and print buys to introduce tourists to the Museum as a whole. The second was to inform passersby physically around the Museum space that our building was still open during construction.
